Stephanie was a junior in high school when I first met her. She was bubbly, sweet and full of energy- and she still is to this very day. I feel so blessed that I continue to be in her life and now the life of her husband and her beautiful baby girl Isobel.

Alexis
I feel blessed that the majority of my friends I have known for over 15 years and one friend in particular I have known for almost 30. When I see her daughter, Alexis, it reminds me of care free days playing in the creek, riding bikes down to Fruitdale and giggling all night long.
I sure hope Lexi finds a friend like I have in her mother, April.

Holy Smokes! Look at that GIANT PUMPKIN! Trip to Bauman's Farm & Garden take two
The journey started about 6 months ago when my mom went to Bauman's for our weekly fruit and vegtables and saw the giant pumpkins. She asked me if our FFA chapter wanted to grow one, I asked Blair if that was cool, she said ok, I asked Allison if she wanted to grow it, she said ok and that was that. The pumpkin grew and grew and today was the day to drive it from Molalla to Gervais and compete in the Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off!
When Allison and her mother arrived the guy asked Allison what the pumpkin's name was-
Guy- "What is it's name?"
Allison- "I don't know. I just called it pumpkin when I rubbed lotion on it."
Me- "Lotion?"
Allison- "I could not let it get a sun burn."
Me- "Oh. Name it Lotion."
(later)
Me- "I have a finger puppet named Lotion. It's a monkey."
Allison- (strange look on her face, staring at me)
Allison, Porter and Mom were excited.
Lotion.
Pumpkin judges making sure people are not cheating.
And, a rooster on the run.
Porter did not make weight.
Excited for growing a LARGER pumpkin next year!
